Are you Drowning in the Wrongness of this World?

Overwhelmed with the evils of the world

Are you an ethically minded, socially conscious, animal loving, environmental soul?

If you are, I tip my hat to you, because you are probably exhausted with the constant heart-breaking barrage of every possible thing we are doing wrong in this world (more…)

1000 Generations of Ancestors – Are You Doing Them Justice?

Rock paintings of Tassili N'Ajjer, Algeria

You are the product of over 1000 generations of modern man. Maybe even as much as 2000 generations if you assume that every mother that begat every mother that begat every mother in your ancestral line was on average between 15 and 30 when they gave birth.

But at a minimum, a thousand generations.

A thousand men and woman living and dying throughout the ages with one remaining chance at (more…)

A sneak peek from our adventures! Inspirational stories for Blog Action Day

what have we been doing

Today is Blog Action Day and this year’s theme is “The Power of We”.

6 months and 15 days ago John (my husband) and I left our lives in Australia to travel the world and find and film people that make a difference to their communities. People who genuinely live and breathe “the power of we”.

They have huge energy for other people or causes; they have a big heart yet often a small income.

As a business coach I find these people have the biggest passion. But there is a common question which presents a personal dilemma…

How do you focus on creating financial security when you really want to focus on making a difference?

This may have an obvious answer for most people… (more…)

How to overthrow the government, save the animals and help disadvantaged youth before you get out of bed in the morning.

I have a confession to make… before I get up in the morning I have usually checked my Facebook, Twitter and emails. Before my toes slip from under the sheets, I have already surveyed the state of the world through the comments, videos and links that my global social network have taken the effort to share.

Sometimes I find inspirational stories, thoughts and ideas and sometimes like today, I am thrown into a day of global chaos and tragedy. There is hope however, just as freely as the information and news flows, we are able to contribute in our own small way – instantly over the internet.

What first caught my eye this morning was this video on the chaos in Egypt over the last few days: (more…)
