This big jiggly jelly of opportunities

Take a bite of the big jelly...

I have been reflecting on the last 12 months and it really has been the ride of my life… The year has gone lightning fast and so much has happened!

We started Grassroots Internet Strategy 11 months ago now, and without realising the significance of the date we have planned a whole week celebration for our anniversary! The Websites Rock Festival is 4 days of industry rock stars delivering free online seminars to website owners… if you have a website book your place for some of the events!

In the last 12 months through Grassroots we have produced 2 paid eCourses, 1 paid eBook, 8 customer websites & add on blogs, 5 free eBooks, a free monthly web seminar, 20+ videos, 102 blogs, 1570 tweets, and we manage a Facebook page, a Facebook group and a Linked In group. We have held an Australasian business survey,  secured 33 affiliates &  7 partnerships and created a business inspiration series with industry experts.

In addition to that I have also interviewed around 100 guests over 50 radio shows, set up another 3 websites posted another 55 blogs, written a free eBook, helped a charity with their social media strategy, signed a publishing deal, almost finished a 50,000 word book, hold a DJing residency, modelled in some shows and found someone to host the music festival I founded (which will be held this Saturday with 40 bands!).

All of this on top of running my existing business to pay the bills, have a social life and luckily for me, the chance to enjoy a few holidays <phew!>.

This year I tasted the big jiggly jelly of opportunities and I chose to make the most of them. I feel like a new person capable of whatever comes my way, and if I could share this feeling it would be good enough to bottle. Anyway that is my caffeine induced ramblings of an evening… back to the book!

Have a great week and if you are in Sydney on Saturday, I hope to see you at the festival!

If you like it, please share it!

Speak your lovely mind!

  1. far out Serena :-) Go girl (or should I say ‘girls’?)! Love that you got some holidays into the midst of all that fun.

  2. Wow, I’m exhausted reading that Grassroots list but I still passionately know that “Websites Rock!”

  3. Busy bees make the most honey

  4. Whow – what a list of achievements! Sorry I cant make the Sydney festival on Saturday but see you at the Websites Rock Festival.

  5. Lovely to see it all adding up and contributing to a larger picture – and not to mention all the people you have enthused on the way and the many spin off effects that had in their sphere of influence – I know we at Children’s Promise love your energy, passion and enthusiasm!
